When a software deployment starts the following actions are performed: Software deployment tool like Microsoft SCCM copies package to client Software deployment tool invokes RunLauncher.exe /install in the package folder. RunLauncher.exe invokes Launcher.exe /install %pathtolocalpackagefolder% Launcher.exe executes the actions which are specified in the LauncherConfig.xml and logs the results to logfile and registry location specified in the Launcher.exe.config RunLauncher.exe returns exit code of installation to software deployment tool.
Manual Installation of Packages
Packages that are configured to use netECM:Launcher can be installed locally on clients. For this the Comand Line Interface Parameters are needed. For the manual installation of packages local administrator rights are needed. Application packages can either be installed by right-clicking the RunLauncher.exe file and then choosing the option "Run as Administrator", or by using a command line with elevated rights. For the command line the following parameters can be used:
|/Cleanup||Removes the registry entries for blocked applications (debug entries)|
|/I <packageDirectory>||Install the package located in the package directory path|
|/install <packageDirectory>||Install the package located in the package directory path|
|/u <packageDirectory>||Uninstall the package located in the package directory path|
|/uninstall <packageDirectory>||Uninstall the package located in the package directory path|
